On the 27-th of February "Open doors day" event was conducted

Head of the department prof. Anatoly Stepanchuk and assoc.prof Oleh Stepanov met with students of Pre-University groups of NTUU "KPI".

Anatoly Stepanchuk in a popular form said potential applicants about the place and the role of materials science and materials science engineers in human development in the previous and current stage, opened in materials challenges of the near future. He introduced students to the peculiarities of admission to 1st year of "KPI" in 2016 and in particular such for Faculty of Physical Engineering.

After the lecture, the guests made a tour of scientific laboratories: Center for Electron Microscopy, Center for X-ray analysis RIGAKU, Laboratory preparation of thin sections; Laboratory of optical microscopy
