International partnerships

Currently department of High-temperature Materials and Powder Metallurgy actively cooperates with 19 foreign scientific and educational institutions. As part of this cooperation annually up to 15 international business trips of staff and students of the department are carried out.

Each year, the department attends to 100 scientists from foreign countries: Germany, France, USA, Russia, Belarus, Turkey, Serbia, India, Algeria, Belgium, Great Britain, Slovakia and others.

The department is actively involved in preparing of international scientific and educational projects. So in 2015, together with the Catholic University of Leuven prepared and won a project on academic mobility in the framework of the Erasmus1+ KA1, and with the University of Otto von Guericke University (Magdeburg, Germany) prepared educational project on the DAAD program, and the research project on the «Volkswagenstiftung» program.

The department participates in the international educational project on the program TEMPUS «The modernization of curricula of two-level training programs (bachelors / masters) of engineering materials based on competent approach and best practices for the implementation of the Bologna process" 543994-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-BE -TEMPUS-JPCR (MMATENG).

The department takes an active part in the organization of international conferences:

1. International Conference «HighMatTech», Kyiv, NTUU "KPI" (1 time every 2 years).

2. Samsonov International Conference "Materials science of refractory compounds" Kyiv, NTUU "KPI" (1 time every 2 years).

3. International Scientific Conference "Materials for extreme conditions" Kyiv, NTUU "KPI" (1 time per year)

The department staff actively published in specialized foreign journals belonging to science metric database (annually up of 10 articles), and make reports at international conferences abroad. In 2015 I. Bogomol and I. Solodkyi made oral presentations at conferences held in Krakow (Poland) and Kyoto (Japan).

The department performs work under a joint Ukrainian-German Faculty. In 2015, at the University of Otto von Guericke University (Magdeburg, Germany) 3 master's students were studied on the 6 course.
